Member-only story
University is all about being committed to your assignments, readings, projects, midterms and finals. Even though most of us begin the term with great enthusiasm, as the weeks go on we find ourselves with diminishing motivation and lack of dedication. Staying at the top of your game requires planning. You can’t just plan for success, you also have to prepare for it. You have to lay down a foundation, orchestrate a framework and make arrangements.
Here is my Pandora’s box of organization tips that helps me stay focused throughout the 12 weeks of college:
1. BULLET JOURNALING
[This is my bullet journal and I take it everywhere with me. I bought this one from Flying Tiger Copenhagen, but I’m sure you can find fancier ones online]
>SCHEDULING:
The way I like to keep my bullet journal is by inserting my class schedule at the very beginning so that I can plan around it. Next, I go about adding all the other weekly commitments that I have during term, such as committee meetings, fitness classes, etc. This helps me prioritize and navigate through my daily tasks. It also makes working around my schedule a really simple task.
>MONTH IN REVIEW:
It is always a good idea to have a month in review page so that you can remember all the important dates, be it assignments or birthdays. There are tonnes of ‘Month In Review’ templates available online, you can pick one of those or make one of your own!
